    Our wooden tools and cutting board are made from natural beechwood, chosen for its strength, smooth finish and beautiful feel in little hands.

    Our measuring spoons and non-slip mat are made using food-grade silicone, designed for everyday kitchen use.

Safety has been considered from the beginning of the design and production process.

The Little Method Kids Cooking Set has been tested to relevant AS/NZS 8124 safety requirements, alongside applicable material and food-contact testing.

Designed with little cooks in mind

The Little Method isn’t a toy kitchen set. These are real cooking tools, thoughtfully sized for children, so they can take part in genuine food preparation alongside an adult. 

From whisking and measuring to mashing, spreading and chopping soft foods, each tool has been selected to help little hands participate with greater confidence.

Carying for your tools

Let your little cook help. Rinsing, drying and putting tools back in their place is part of learning to care for the things we use.

  • Wooden tools

    Hand wash and dry straight away. Avoid soaking. Occasionally rub with a little food-safe oil to help prevent the wood from drying out.

  • Stainless steel

    Dishwasher safe, or hand wash with warm soapy water.

  • Silicone

    Dishwasher safe, or hand wash with warm soapy water.
